John Robinson Award
The John Robinson Award is given in honour of the late London Police Service Inspector John Robinson. A founding member of the LCCEWA, John was a strong anti-violence advocate who worked tirelessly to establish policies and training for London Police Service members towards the goal of ending violence against women. A skilled collaborator, John was the driving force behind establishing the mandatory charge policy that would later become a national directive. The John Robinson Award is given to individuals and organizations who capture John’s tenacious spirit, and exemplify leadership, creativity and dedication to ending violence against women.
