London Abused Women’s Centre (LAWC)
Provides free, long-term, woman-centred, trauma and violence-informed counselling, advocacy and support to women and girls over the age of 12 who have been subjected to male violence against women and girls including woman abuse/intimate partner violence, sexual assault, sexual exploitation, prostitution, sex trafficking or torture by an intimate partner, sex purchaser, trafficker or pimp. LAWC also provides support to family members of women and girls who have been sexually exploited including women and girls who are missing.

St. Joseph’s Hospital Regional Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Program
The Regional Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Treatment Program (RSADVTP) is a team of specialized nurses, doctors and social workers who provide care for people of any age or gender identification who have been sexually assaulted and/or experienced domestic violence. We serve the areas of London, Middlesex, Elgin, Perth and Oxford. Help is available 24/7.

There are many options for care. Each individual can choose all, none or any combination of the following services offered within the program :
○ Emotional support/crisis intervention
○ Counseling (child and adult)
○ Physical examination
○ Testing, prevention, and/or treatment of sexually transmitted infections initially and in follow-up
○ HIV prevention medication
○ Testing and/or prevention of pregnancy due to sexual assault
○ Documentation/photographs of injuries
○ Forensic evidence collection (Forensic evidence can be stored anonymously for up to one year while you decided if you wish to involve police)
○ Safety planning
○ Referrals to community and other medical supports as needed.

Street Level Women at Risk
Using a Housing First approach, SLWAR assists women who are experiencing homelessness and engaged in street involved sex work to secure permanent housing with intensive in home support. SLWAR is a collaboration of 27 programs providing wrap-around supports based on the needs and goals of the women SLWAR serves.

Victim Witness Assistance Program
The Victim/Witness Assistance Program provides information, assistance and support to victims and witnesses of crime to increase their understanding of, and participation in, the criminal court process. Services are provided on a priority basis to the most vulnerable victims and witnesses of violent crime, such as domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, homicide and hate crime. Families of traffic fatality victims are also eligible. Services begin once police have laid charges and continue until the court case is over.

Youth Opportunities Unlimited
